Have fun, but be very, very careful! No matter how secure it looks, they CAN find a way to get out of it fast, especially if scared by something. I used to bring mine for walks in one just like that, and never had any problems. Then one day, after bring Floppy for a walk in the woods, I got home and got out of the car, and the neighbor's 2 year old scared him crazy for some reason, and he was out of the harness in about 1 second. He ran away from me and the only thing that kept him from running into the busy street was the fact he followed the outline of the apartment building into a corner for a split second that allowed be to catch him.

July 3rd 2012...My dear little baby has made her final journey to the Rainbow Bridge and past the gates of Heaven into paradise. Rest in peace my little sweetheart. You were the sweetest and gentlest baby I had the blessing of knowing. You will be missed here on earth but I know heaven will be that little bit sweeter now you are there. Say hello to Boos, Fifi and Books and to all the other babies there when you get to the Rainbow Bridge and I know they'll be waiting for you with tails up high........
"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” Revelations 21:4......
"And [accompanying them will be their] companions pure, most beautiful of eye, like unto pearls hidden in their shells. [This will be] a reward for what they did [during life]. No empty talk will they hear there, nor any call to sin, but only the tiding of inner soundness and peace." Quran, Chapter 56 verses 22-26.......
God bless you Bears and all those babies journeying to the Rainbow Bridge

I am very sorry to hear about poor old Bears. She has had a good life, but you are doing the right thing by her because it's kinder than letting an cat linger and suffer. She is such a beautiful cat, and reminds me very much of my own cat, Katie. Our condolences are with you.
