Thank you all for your lovely comments. I know she is with my father in paradise, all well and whole again. I will be doing another painting to add to the art collection on my wall, of all the cats we have loved and lost over the years and will post the completed picture once its done. Thank you all again, the picato family has been a source of strength and comfort in these sad times

29.10.14 - My beautiful Charlie has made her last journey and is now at the rainbow Bridge. You have been a source of love and affection for me. and now it's time to meet the other babies, and also my dad who crossed over 7 years ago. I know he'll be waiting for you and lead you onwards into paradise. God bless and see you again in the afterlife

Some very sad news to report. Tonight will be Charlie's last night as her condition has worsened due to the brain tumor that caused her stroke and blindness. It will be a hard decision but the right one to let her go. I am spending my last night with her giving her the love and comfort as she heads to the Rainbow Bridge to meet the other babies, and also my dad who passed away 7 years ago. I now he will be waiting for her and lead her to paradise. God bless you Charlie and may we meet again in the afterlife

Some sad news - Poor Charlie has lost her sight. Vet thinks she'd had a stroke in the last couple of days resulting in the blindness. I am so sad for her as this means her life will be irrevocably changed. The only thing that I can do is to be there for her and give her even more TLC and to help her around while she gets used to her condition. I have no idea if she'll regain any form of sight but now I am going to be her eyes from here on.

For those who are interested, the cat on the tv is named Hamish McHamish.. a cat that roams the streets of St Andrews in Scotland and is the subject of a tv programme. He has his own facebook page, twitter account and yes, even an entry in Wikipedia!!! He was recently honoured with his own statue and given the freedom of the city!!! Not bad going!!

Thanks Marylin, it's been 2 1/2 years since Bears left and 3 1/2 since Boos left, but they still live on in my heart. They'll be waiting for me at the Rainbow bridge as I'm sure all our furry friends we have lost will be doing also. Bless you for your lovely comments :-)
