Skeeter's an Ernest Hemingway cat(a polydactyl). Are you familiar with the Ernest Hemingway Museum and Home in Key West, Fla? If not, you may be interested in doing a 'google' on Ernest Hemingway cats. I tried to insert the websites in this message, but couldn't.

Mean as hell, huh? It must be the name...I have a friend who has a Kiki and she's a holy terror, too! Look on the bright side...maybe it's just a "phase" and she'll outgrow it someday...but don't hold your breath!

...And a beautiful orange baby you are, Billy! Aren't we 'cat people' absolutely obnoxious about our cats! (^; Cat people and horse people are in a class all their own!

I think gay people are enjoying the best times of their lives right now. It seems as if it's become "cool" to be gay. I'm not gay, but I believe in letting people live their own lives and attending to my own business. I don't know you, but I'll bet you're kind-hearted, gentle and loving. After all, you found it in your heart to adopt this adorable kitten! (^;

You sure did do some hard time, sweetheart! Thank God someone found you and gave you a loving home! I wish all of these stories could have such a happy ending...but, alas, more often than not these stories end tragically. You're a very lucky girl, Sallyport!

I copied your website and will visit later on this afternoon. Right now I don't think I could handle the story without breaking down. Although I'm sure that ANYTIME I read about it I'll be in tears!

That's funny about the catnip...I thought my Levi was the only cat to actually get 'drunk' on catnip! Levi gets glassy eyed and begins walking like he's tipsy. I once, a long time ago, called the vet because I was afraid he had overdosed! Needless to say, the vet got quite a laugh out of that one!!

I don't suppose I'll find one of these at my front door! All of my cats had either been dumped, abandoned (same thing!) Or born in the wild. This cat sure is a beauty, though!
