I can't understand why this would "horrify" anyone. I bathe my cats at least twice a year. It's actually quite good for them to be bathed occasionally. I wouldn't recommend more than an occasional bath two or three times a year, however, unless an unforeseen situation occurs, that is. Btw, I think this photo is adorable.

Amendment to post below; This also goes for the people who allow their pets to "roam freely" and believe it's not their problem to make the effort to alter their cats and dogs. Btw, I think it is commendable that you are fostering this cat until it finds a home. Kudos to you!
