In fact, people don't interpret the black cat thing properly. The real "superstition" is that a black cat brings happiness and luck to the people that live with them and of course, when he leaves, the good luck leaves too and life becomes normal again. This is the history of this stupid superstition. I've had many black cats and they make me happy everyday. No good luck, no bad luck.I'm just lucky to have them, and they are lucky to have me :)
