I just checked in for a few moments before leaving for an Easter vacation and the first thing I saw was this. Mere words cannot express how sorry I am. We lost our beloved Levi last October 31. He had just turned 19 in September. Although he had a good run, it was no less devastating when we finally had to have him put down. Please know my heart goes out to you for the loss of your precious and beloved Asia.

Again, I did a bit of messing with the eyes. Benjamin has natural deep blue eyes, but sometimes they come out very pale in a photo...sometimes they come out just right. Of course I was going for a more "natural" blue than this!

Maggie looks almost black in this one...as she also does in a few of her other photos. It must have been the lighting or my camera setting, because I assure you I haven't messed with her colouring.

I've been having the same problem with my cats lately. They don't want to stay put for any photo sessions. I think they're getting burned out with this posing stuff.

Your choice of location and background for this photo gives this image a wonderful warmth. Uhhh, on second thought...I'm pretty certain that Shadow made the "location choice." (0;

I just saw your post on one of Maggie's older pics. Yes, there is an amazing resemblance! I think Russians are among the most beautiful cats around! Also have a wonderful, lovable and sweet nature. I also love that they "softly squeak" rather than loudly meow. (^:

Paper bags...they love 'em, don't they?! We buy our cats something new to play with just about every time we shop (their toy boxes are better stocked than my kid's were!) And what do they do? Play joyfully in the bags and the boxes! *Sheesh!*

Shadow, I love your expression in this one! this is the way my cats are beginning to look at me whenever I aim my cam at them! Either that, or I get that bored, ho-hum expression! *Sigh...*
